Peter Galison is the Joseph Pellegrino [University Professor](/links/university-professorships) at [Harvard University](http://www.harvard.edu/). He currently directs the [Black Hole Initiative](https://bhi.fas.harvard.edu/) at Harvard, a leading center for interdisciplinary research on black holes. His books include [*How Experiments End*](/publications/how-experiments-end); [*Image and Logic: A Material Culture of Microphysics*](/publications/image-and-logic); [*Einstein’s Clocks, Poincaré’s Maps*](/publications/einsteins-clocks-poincar%C3%A9s-maps); and, with Lorraine Daston, [*Objectivity*](/publications/objectivity).
